The presidential election is sure to be the focus of our collective attention the remainder of the year.  Very often, decisions about our financial lives don’t receive nearly the same level of attention and concern.   So many of us spend less time evaluating a financial decision than determining who they will vote for, even though the former has a much more lasting and permanent impact on our personal lives.
